Prices of medication and vaccinations are variable from place to place and time to time. New products invariably cost more and combination products  usually come at a slight premium to the individual items separately.

Any individual has several ways he/she can be vaccinated. We will assess and adjust for the available time to achieve the maximum immunity in the time available, and in the least expensive manner. For example, some doctors will use a rapid schedule of vaccines, which might be  3 twinrix before you go, and often this is not necessary to achieve cover, or cover can be achieved using different combinations of A and B separately. Our staff are trained to calculate this to save you money. Currently Hep A vaccine mixed with typhoid is $115 at our clinic.

Some other organisations do provide vaccines. They may not know about new vaccines such as the one to stop Bali Belly( $62-$99), or about the international shortage of Rabies vaccine. They also do  not actually provide travel health information as well, and usually they cannot provide all the vaccines you need in one place. If you wish to use these alternatives we are happy to fill in the gaps but it will mean a lot of running around for you. We hope to provide you with a competitive one stop shop for your travel medicine requirements. If you have private health insurance there are  rebates which will be applicable, further reducing the costs to you.

If you particularly want to know what you will need we currently have the ability to send an email with more information re prices. As you may have gathered by now, a list will only be a general guide as you are unlikely to be able to work out exactly which vaccines are the best and most appropriate combination for you. You may also get some general  price information by phoning us....82673544. Our staff can give you a general  scenario if you have an itinerary. Private health refunds are available on most items over $32, but the fund usually will make you pay the first $32.00 of each vaccine. It is worth finding out if there is a ceiling  to the refund (and its level) as combination vaccinations can make it cheaper if the ceilings are higher. We can go into this in detail during the consultation to work out the cheapest way to get you covered!

Medicare does  cover consultation fees and our clinic has a maximum "gap" fee of $12 per person, but the actual fee that we charge is about $23.00 per person. ie you pay $23 and get back $11 approximately.  Some  groups  eg health care card holders and  pensioners receive discounts on these amounts.

We hope to provide you with the best cover and at a competitive cost. Our aim is for you to stay healthy on your trip!
